These are thematic maps on protected areas, bio-priority areas, land tenure instruments and threats to forests laid over the Philippine forest cover map to indicatively show where the natural forests are and its over-lapping tenure instrument within the forest. The data sources are accessed mainly from DENR-NAMRIA and Conservation International but have to be validated and triangulated through several sources of information. These maps are developed to guide users on how much forest cover is left, overlapping tenure instrument, existing and potential drivers of deforestation and degradation.
