A total of 65 participants coming from IP and forest dependent communities, local & national NGOs, PCSD, LGUs, DENR, attended the Palawan REDD Consultation on August 10-11, 2009 at Skylight Hotel, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The event was titled, REDD: Something to dread or the way ahead?: Exploring Forest Carbon revenues for Philippine forest –based communities.
