This rapid participatory study was conducted jointly by NTFP-EP, CBD and the Cambodian NTFP Development Organization (CAN-DO) at the latter’s request for exploration of current issues and community concerns associated with malva nut collection and trade in Ratanakiri. The village consultation and interviews were conducted on May 3-5, 2007.
