Today as we commemorate International Human Rights Day, we continue to stand in solidarity with women environmental human rights defenders (WEHRD) in Asia in their struggle for gender and environmental justice.

During the WEHRD Online Retreat, grassroots WEHRD from all over Asia were able to listen and share to each other their stories, and most importantly, they were able to relate with one another, and develop concrete actions in how to strengthen their campaigns in fighting for gender and environmental justice.

From our village to our sister’s village, we stand in solidarity in the fight of our WEHRDs!
