Programme Assistant for ICCA Consortium SEA
NTFP-EP Asia is an association of 31 members with over 100 partner non-governmental organizations and community-based organizations working with forest-based communities to strengthen their capacity in the sustainable management of natural resources in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
The Programme Assistant is a full-time work available to Philippine-based applicants only. Salary is Php34,000.00 gross per month commensurate to qualifications, with standard benefits and a maximum 6-month probation. This position reports to the Regional Coordinator for ICCA Consortium SEA.
Duty station is at the NTFP-EP Asia Quezon City office, which operates on a compressed work week from Mondays to Thursdays but with travel to project areas from time to time.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (background in Environmental Science, Forestry, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field is an advantage).
- 2–3 years of experience in program coordination or administrative support, preferably in a regional or NGO setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaborative tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom).
- Experience in handling financial and administrative tasks, including reimbursements, cash advances, and liquidation reports.
- Familiarity with Indigenous Peoples’ issues, non‑timber forest products (NTFPs), or community‑based conservation is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
he Programme Associate’s duties and responsibilities shall contribute towards the attainment of the ICCA Consortium SEA strategy and priorities and operational plan and advocacy roadmap. This includes providing proactive support to the ICCA Consortium SEA.Coordination team, Council and its Members. The Programme Associate will work closely with the ICCA Consortium SEA Coordination team particularly with the Regional Coordinator, Advocacy Coordinator, Council and members for the effective implementation of program administration responsibilities and accountable use of resources related to, recording and reporting of the project activities funded for the ICCA Consortium SEA.
The Programme Associate shall be responsible for the following:
- Network and Coordination
- Arrange travel logistical needs of the project staff i.e. flight and hotel bookings;
- Maintain and update contact lists of ICCA Consortium members, consultants and partners.
- Re-produce and distribute Consortium-related correspondence memos, letters, and forms to concerned ICCA Consortium and NTFP-EP project partners.
- Assist in preparing memorandum of agreements and professional service contracts with members, partners and/or consultants, including send to NTFP-EP Asia administration for DocuSigning;
- Perform other coordination-related tasks as assigned (related to communications, logistics, or partner coordination).
- Project Management
- Handling of administrative finance tasks such as reimbursements, cash advances and liquidation reports.
- Maintaining digital records of all administrative transactions, documents, and other important information including filing of important project documents and reports.
- Other tasks that support project operations as may be assigned by the Regional Coordinator and other members of the coordination team.
