Attended by over 70 ICCA members, Indigenous Peoples and local communities’ representatives, and partners, this event offers a venue to exchange updates and deepen understanding of Indigenous and community conserved areas (ICCAs)—also known as territories of life—across the region. 🍃
During the opening session, Dave De Vera, an elder of the Consortium, walked us through the beginnings of the movement. While key leaders also shared their reflection on the ICCA C SEA’s regionalization journey.
